“Therefore we have been buried with him by baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life.” (Romans 5:4)
Good Day to all Easter People!
According to Uncle Martin Luther, when is the most appropriate time to celebrate Easter? … Every morning! When we wake up we are to give thanks to God for another day to live, serve, pray, work, love and be God’s People in a weary world.
I pray that as you contemplate the events of our Holy Week Journey, you are able to shed all the feelings, regrets, pains and doubts that distract us from the Good News that is being showered upon us every moment of our lives. Through the death and resurrection of Christ we have been forgiven and freed to be people of faith. Faith gives us the hope and the courage to do things that we would never expect or even think about. Faith gives us the power to see people not as strangers or enemies, but as other people God lovingly created, that we just haven’t met yet.
It is a new day! A new beginning! Through the Cross of Christ we have been given an opportunity to let go of all those attachments that drag us away from the source of all love.
Grace and peace,
